DESCRIPTION
Ascorbic Acid + Zinc (VitaCinc) capsule comes in size 0 hard gelatin capsule with brown cap and body.

WHAT IS IN THE MEDICINE?
Each capsule contains 562.43 mg of Sodium Ascorbate that provides 500 mg of its active substance, Ascorbic Acid or Vitamin C. This vitamin is used for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency symptoms like scurvy (characterized by capillary fragility, bleeding of small blood vessels and gums, normocytic or macrocytic anaemia, lesions of cartilages and bones and slow healing of wounds). It is essential for the synthesis of collagen and intercellular materials. Ascorbic acid acts to stimulate the production of collagen (abundant protein of the body for protection of mucosal linings and other connective tissues for maintaining of organs) and being a potent antioxidant, it effectively fights free radicals and harmful effects of these in the body. Zinc on the other hand helps in the proper replication of cells’ DNA which is required for cells to multiply and thus needed for normal growth, cell renewal and 

bodily or physiological processes such as respiration, digestion, blood circulation, immune system response and as fuel for various physical activities. Together with Vitamin C, an antioxidant and immune function booster, this multivitamin product can help adults ensure optimum energy and increase body resistance against infections.

WHAT IS THIS MEDICINE USED FOR?
Multivitamins (VitaLakas) functions as a multivitamin supplement to help promote increase in energy and enhance the immune system of the body. Also used for the prevention and /or treatment of Vitamin B-Complex and Vitamin C deficiencies.

HOW MUCH AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU USE THIS MEDICINE?
Take one capsule daily with or without food or as directed by your physician.

WHEN SHOULD YOU NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE?

• If you have peptic ulcer, liver disease, gall bladder disease, Diabetes Mellitus, gout, bleeding problems and pregnancy or lactation that might have a problem with nicotinamide.
• With sodium ascorbate which provides ascorbic acid, this medicine must not be taken if interactions with other drugs or substances are possible, other interacting conditions are present like hyperoxaluria, haemochromatosis, G6PD deficiency, diabetics and others like with patients prone to renal calculi.
• If with allergy to any component of this product.
• If any undesirable effects, mentioned or other undesirable effects are experienced.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE TAKEN MORE THAN THE RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
If overdose is suspected, immediately consult a physician, other healthcare professionals or contact the nearest hospital.

HOW SHOULD YOU KEEP THIS MEDICINE?
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30OC.
